This commercial spot was a very enjoyable production thanks to all the friendly staff at the ICE facility. Overall, the production took about 10 hours to complete — although it was spread across 3 different days. Click the link to watch.

This segment was produced in just a few days for the City of Ocala’s new curbside recycling program which is scheduled to start on April 2nd, 2012. It was a really fun shoot, in part because I got to work with a bunch of friends (Janie Pope and Nicole Parker), but also because my sweet-heart daughter, Gracie, was our star baby! The segment was shot out of sequence, which is usually the case in these types of shoots, but it never makes the production any easier. This video was a test sample shot for a new advertising concept. Basically, our team met early one morning, packed up all of our gear, and hiked more than a mile through the woods to the production site. Fortunately, we were able to arrive at the scene while the lighting was still ideal. Technically, the shooting session was complicated because of the rough terrain and proved to be physically exhausting for the crew and the model. Here is a video from the grand opening ‘Flip the Switch’ event at The Power Plant. The Power Plant is Marion County’s first business incubator, located in downtown Ocala. At the event, about 100 community business leaders were in attendance for the ceremony, which marked a significant step toward future job creation. The opening took place on Friday, February 10th — which just so happens to be the eve of Thomas Edison’s birthday.

‘The Power Plant’ video shoot- This video has a cool concept because it’s meant to document the unfolding of a community vision, The Power Plant. This old building was once used as an energy facility in past years but is currently being remodeled to serve as an innovation hub for start-up companies in Ocala/Marion county.
